The Chamber

Mr Ian Colston was the first President of the Llantwit Major Chamber of Trade and Commerce when it was founded over 30 years ago in 1975. Since then there have been a great many Presidents and committee members drawn from all over the business community of Llantwit Major.

The Chamber is committed to identifying the issues that are important to its members and aims to forge greater links with all parts of the community and local Government to identify improvement opportunities for the traders in the area. Currently the Chamber has over 50 members and we welcome any businesses either established or new to the area to join us.

Most of the committee members sit on outside bodies and Llantwit Major Chamber of Trade and Commerce is a very proactive organisation.

The chamber has open meetings where everyone can come to put their points of view, the agendas are emailed or given to all members. The meetings give members the opportunity to meet other members and discuss ways to help each other. Our member’s directory is a perfect way to get your business known.
